Why PU?
PU is an artificial material made with split leather (the fibrous part of the hide left over from making leather) that does not involve animals and it is ethically sourced. They use recycled PU.The other side of the mat is made with sustainably harvested tree rubber from rubber trees, a renewable resource. Recycled PU mats have a positive impact on the environment as they are made from recycled materials, reducing waste and decreasing your carbon footprint. Additionally, the manufacturing process of recycled PU mats typically uses less energy and water than traditional mat production.
