The John W. Brick foundation is changing the way the world treats mental health.
Their purpose revolves around integrating self-care approaches, such as exercise, nutrition and mind-body practices, into treating mental illness and promoting mental well-being.
Through a combination of research, programs, and collaboration, they are putting the work in to create a better world for us all to live in. Their research funds and promotes evidence-based research on how self-care approaches such as exercise, nutrition and mind-body practices benefit mental health and well-being. They create and support programs and initiatives that integrate evidence-based, holistic, self-care, approaches into the optimization of mental well-being. And they serve as a collaborative hub to advance a roadmap for an integrated approach to mental health.
They strongly stand behind an expanded approach to mental and emotional health that includes the whole person – body, mind, & spirit – within the context of community.
